2. Subject Matter of the Contract
The MuseumsuferCard is a personalized annual pass valid for 365 days from the selected start date.
The Museumsuferticket is a time-limited ticket valid for two consecutive calendar days.
Both products are provided exclusively as digital content.
3. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to place an order.
By completing the order process, the customer submits a binding offer. The contract is concluded as soon as the order is confirmed by us or the digital product is provided.
If a preferred date is selected, validity begins on that date.
4. Provision of Digital Content
The MuseumsuferCard and the Museumsuferticket are provided exclusively in digital form (e.g., by email or in the customer account).
Provision generally occurs immediately after conclusion of the contract or payment confirmation.
Performance of the contract begins with the provision.
5. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers are generally entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are provided in the separate withdrawal instructions.
For digital content, the right of withdrawal may expire prematurely if the customer expressly agrees that performance of the contract begins before the expiration of the withdrawal period and confirms that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
6. Services and Use
With the MuseumsuferCard, holders receive free admission to the permanent and special exhibitions of the currently participating museums.
Excluded are major special exhibitions with international loans at the Städel Museum; these are separately designated.
Additionally included are the art magazine “art kaleidoscope” (from the next available issue) as well as free admission to the “Night of Museums” and the Museumsufer Festival.
With the Museumsuferticket, holders receive free admission to the participating museums on two consecutive calendar days.
If the second day of use is a regular closing day, validity is extended by one day accordingly.
Guided tours and other additional services are not included. There is no entitlement to priority admission.
The cards are personalized and non-transferable.
A current overview of participating museums is available online.
7. Use and Verification
The MuseumsuferCard and the Museumsuferticket must be presented in digital form when visiting the museums.
A valid photo ID must be presented upon request.
8. MuseumsuferCard Subscription
The MuseumsuferCard can optionally be obtained as a subscription.
In this case, the term is automatically extended by one additional year unless canceled at least four weeks before expiration.
Cancellation must be made in text form.
9. Changes, Loss, and Replacement
Changes to personal data must be communicated immediately.
In case of loss or damage to the MuseumsuferCard, it can be blocked and replaced for a processing fee.

The prices stated at the time of ordering apply.
The payment methods offered in the online shop are conclusively listed there.
11. Liability
The City of Frankfurt am Main is liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as in cases of intent and gross negligence.
In cases of simple negligence, the City of Frankfurt am Main is only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) and limited to the contract-typical, foreseeable damage.
Liability for services provided by the participating museums is excluded.
12. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable state law provisions.
The detailed privacy policy is available on the respective websites.
13. Newsletter
The conditions specified there apply to the newsletter.
14. QR Code and Digital Use
The MuseumsuferCard and the Museumsuferticket contain a QR code for digital verification.

Personal evaluation of usage data does not take place. No user profiles are created. Disclosure to third parties occurs only to the extent necessary for contract fulfillment or where a legal obligation exists.
15. Final Provisions
German law applies.
The place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main, provided the customer is a merchant or has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany.
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
